Kalpana KotagalSouth Asian American attorney Kalpana Kotagal co-authored the Inclusion Rider, which made a splashy debut in Frances McDormand’s Oscar acceptance speech earlier this year.  She joins us to talk about her work with the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative and Pearl Street Films to develop the Rider, the path to widespread adoption of the Rider and its underlying principles in Hollywood, and why diversity on-screen and off matters.
