Yakub Mathew, Managing Director, Citibank, USA, is based in New York City.

He was Senior Vice President, HSBC, USA, based in New York City until 2010, prior to which he was Head of Expatriate Banking for HSBC in Riyadh. He was with the HSBC Group since 1995.

Yakub started his banking career with Citibank in Manila, Philippines.

He has over 20 years of rich banking experience covering various aspects of banking and finance. He is on the Board of Directors of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, USA and a Charter Member of TIE, New York.

Yakub holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, a Masters in Economics and B.A. Honors, Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
