Dr. Shuvendu Sen
A physician, columnist, writer, and a motivational speaker, Dr. Shuvendu Sen is the author of Amazon bestseller, The Fight Against Alzheimer’s, How to Prevent, Cure, Care, and Find Hope. (Rupa Publications).
Dr. Sen presently serves as the Vice Chair and Faculty of Jersey Shore University. As a multi-awarded physician and author with peer reviewed publications, chapters, and Books to his credit, Dr. Sen has made notable contributions in the field of medicine, literature and advocacy.
His previous book, Why Buddha Never Had Alzheimer’s (published/marketed by HCI/Simon & Schuster), received the 2017 US Nautilus Award and has been translated into French, Italian and several other languages.
The Governors House, Government of Maharashtra, made a Documentary on Dr. Sen’s works that has been selected and screened at the United Nations.
Dr. Sen previously served in the Board of Trustees for the Bryant Library (New York), and the Ustad Vilayat Khan Foundation.
Dr. Sen is the recipient of the Men of Distinction Award from New York State Senate, the Oscar Edwards Award from the American College of Physicians, and has been thrice nominated for United States Pushcart Award for his columns and other works of fiction.
An invited speaker for United Nations officials, World Parliament of Religions, Indian Consulate, The Indian Museum, The Asiatic Society, Duke University, Harvard Medical School, among many others, Dr. Sen has been featured by MSNBC, CNN, PBS, CBS, All India Radio, among others.
