MILTON TABBOT

              Milton Tabbot is the programmer for IFP/New York’s two public screening series – Independents Night, a program for new independent documentaries, and IFP Buzz Cuts, for new short films. He is also a writer, consultant, and programmer, most recently serving as program consultant and editor of the Festival publications for the 2002 and 2003 Tribeca Film Festivals, and program writer for the 2003 and 2004 Miami Film Festivals. Previously he was the Director of the IFP Market, the premier U.S. film market devoted exclusively to the presentation of American independent cinema at all stages of production. Prior to joining the IFP, he worked in acquisitions and programming for Spectravision, the largest hotel pay-per-view system in the US. He has an undergraduate degree in Film from Northwestern University and a graduate degree in Cinema Studies from New York University.
